Virco will now provide HIV drug-resistance testing to the UK & Ireland via a new agreement with Lab21, the Cambridge-based specialist in personalised medicine testing, with Lab21 performing HIV genotyping services in its own laboratory using Virco protocols, whilst Virco will provide the virco®TYPE HIV-1 via Lab21 as its distributor. This follows the acquisition of Delphic Diagnostics, Virco’s previous distributor, by Lab21 in December 2009.

 

This is a continuation of Virco’s commitment to providing its resistance testing products to an important market within Europe, and we look forward to our collaboration with Lab21.
