VircoNET2™

VircoNET2™ is specially designed and user friendly software for the fast and convenient exchange of genotypes and vircoTYPE HIV-1 reports between the genotyping lab and Virco. The vircoNET2™ software is free of charge, can easily be installed and ensures full confidentiality of patient demographic information. vircoTYPE HIV-1 reports (provided via vircoNET2™) are invoiced on a monthly basis (unit price depending on volume and other variables).

vircoTYPE HIV-1 provides an accurate prediction of phenotypic susceptibility from any qualified genotype sequence and eliminates the need to ship samples to Virco's labs for conventional phenotype testing. You can perform a genotype test locally and provide the genotype sequence electronically with vircoNET2™ to Virco for phenotypic resistance analysis.

Real time reporting: With vircoNET2™, a quantitative analysis of an HIV-1 genotype is only a mouse-click away! Incoming sequences are processed in real-time and the vircoTYPE HIV-1 reports are available straight away.

Compatible with any genotyping platform: vircoNET2™ supports any HIV-1 genotype, generated form either a commercial genotyping platform or a homebrew technology, that meets the quality criteria. A warning is given when the submitted sequence does not meet these criteria and can thus not be processed. Sequences can be imported one by one, or in batch. VircoNET2™ accepts several file formats, including plain text, fasta and tab-delimited files.
